In this session, we’ll introduce you to your new favourite tool in the LMS: the Test tool.
Tests (also called quizzes at UWA) are built into every LMS unit. They’re flexible, they mark themselves, and can give feedback to you and your students automatically.
Guided by an experience educational technologist, we’ll explore exactly what the Tests tool is capable of, how to build and deploy tests to your LMS unit, and discuss some best practices for planning and writing questions for your quiz.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Know how to access and set up tests and quizzes in the LMS.
- Understand how quizzes can be used as a formative assessment tool.
- Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of various question types.
- Create engaging and useful tests and questions within LMS.
